Message The engine uses a rotary gear style which is a positive displacement pump. As taken from Wiki: "Rotary pumps are very efficient because they naturally remove air from the lines, eliminating the need to bleed the air from the lines manually".
The will also flow at a constant volume based on rpm not by port size. So given a small hole or a big hole it will still try and move the same amount of fluid regardless.
